Nowadays, the Patterned-Saphire-Substrates (PSS) dominates the commercial LED epitaxy due to the improvement for crystal quality and light extracion, and the market demand for PSS is steadily growing. Practically, the NG wafers during epitaxy and chip-process are always the cost burdon for the LED companies. With our innovative technology in PKU, the NG wafers can be perfectly reclaimed by removing the epilayers to be like-new PSS. The process results show that there is no difference between reclaimed wafers and normal PSS, with yield rate higher than 90%.
